Activity OverviewSince 1992, Brad has helped disabled, beginners, intermediates and elete sufers accompish their personal and professional dreams. All lessons include Surf Safety and Surf Awareness. Brad teaches you " how the sea works and how to work with it". He gives you skills and informatio to apply to any break in the world. Brad teaches: body surfing, bodyboard, shortboard, longboard, and Stand Up Paddle surfing. He tailors the sessions to your personal needs and wants. Brad is most supportive of female surfers, and would love to develop a female as well as male champion on the Gold Coast. He is also a Level 3 International Surfing Judge, and regularly judges WCT contests on the Gold Coast. Brad has taken many surfers from raw beginners to intermediates, then to competitive athletes. Brad is also a qualified Tai Chi and Qigong instructor. He incorporates a Tai Chi warm-up for your surfing to invigerate, but relax your body and focus your mind. Tai Chi also increases your range of movement and increses your range of rotation. Disabled are most welcome. Brad has been nominated for many Gold Coast Awards for service to the disabled in surfing and Tai Chi. He is the first surfing coach in Queensland to be qualifed for disabled. Brad speaks mainly Japanese, a little French, German, Italian, Indonesian, Mandarin, Thai and Arab. He also signs: AUSLAN - Australian Sign Language. He is also a professional Cartoonist.
