Activity OverviewDepart Brisbane for a ferry ride across beautiful Moreton Bay. On the ferry keep your eyes peeled for the many different types of marine life including dolphins, dugongs and whales (in season). Upon arrival at the island, 4WD up the beach and along inland tracks until you reach The Desert. It is here that you will climb one of Moretons many sandhills and experience the thrill of sandboarding down a hill at up to 60kph. From here it is across the island to the magic of Blue Lagoon, where you can wash that sand off whilst your guide prepares lunch. After lunch its time to visit Cape Moreton, and Queenslands oldest lighthouse. From this high vantage point you will see more marine life, including turtles and stingrays, as well as some fantastic photo opportunities of Flinders Reef and The Glasshouse Mountains.
