Activity OverviewVisit three Vineyards and taste some award winning wines. Wines to be tasted at the cellar doors include Shiraz, Verdelo, Chardonnay, Veraz and fortified wine. Enjoy a country lunch at a country restaurant or a country cafe. Learn about the area and the making of wine. Meet at 9.00 A.M. at your accommodation or a designated place. Return home around 5.00 P.M. First stop is onto Normanby Wines at Harrisville set amongst avenues of native trees and jacarandas, the cellar door offers tastings of award-winning Normanby wines range including premium varieties of Verdelho, Cabernet, Shiraz and Port. A true country experience to relax and enjoy. Then to Warrego Wines for lunch - a modern winery nestled near the historic and delightful township of Marburg. Varieties include Chardonnay, Award winning Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot Verdeloh, White Port & Tawny Port. Our final stop is Ironbark Ridge Vineyard, the oldest established vineyard in the district. Award winning Chardonnay, Shiraz and fortified wines are available for tasting and sales.
